Sony Xperia SP Will be Released in MWC

The Sony Xperia SP could be one of the more interesting devices to be introduced at MWC 2013. The Xperia SP was previously known as the Sony HuaShan (C530X). Based on recently leaked images, the Xperia SP seems to have certain visual similarities with the earlier Xperia V.

While the SP is a slightly bigger device, the difference is minimal. It has also been rumored that the phone will have a 4.5” 720p display. The Xperia SP will feature a 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8960T S4 Pro dual-core processor and Adreno 320 GPU. Its operating system will be the earlier version of Jelly Bean, Android 4.1.

Design-wise, the phone still adopts the usual Sony’s signature style with its silver-colored power/button lock placed on the side. The back side could be made from plastic and it is a good thing that the phone will also include 4G LTE connectivity.
