Samsung May Change the Design of Galaxy Note 3 to All-Metal Construction

Samsung’s keeps the rumor mills busy with its upcoming devices. New reports say that the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 may be based on metal material and touts a new design. Samsung may be worried that its standard is no longer adequate after seeing how the HTC One with its metal-based structure received positive responses. Obviously, even the most solid plastic-based assembly is a no match for decent all-metal design.

Fully constructed from aluminum, the HTC One simply looks more sophisticated than the Samsung Galaxy S4 with its plastic exterior. Samsung also takes one step further; the Galaxy Note III will no longer use the design guideline of the Galaxy S4. This might mark the end of Samsung’s well-known plastic-based design and the Galaxy S5 smartphone may have a metal construction as well. As a reminder, the Galaxy Note 3 will sport Exynos 5 Octa 8-core processor, 6” 1080p full HD display and Key Lime Pie (Android 5.0 OS).
