Rumors on Lenovo P780 Appear For The First Time

While many of us have been expecting for the Lenovo IdeaPhone K900, another device appears unexpectedly in the Lenovo event. The Lenovo P780 appears to be a direct follow-up to the earlier P770 and its availability is confirmed only in China. It also has the distinction of being endorsed by an NBA star, Kobe Bryant.

Detailed specs of the phone are not forthcoming as Lenovo hasn’t officially announced the P780 yet. However, like the Lumia 820 and 920, the phone seems to have a highly-sensitive 5”display. Compared to other super-slim smartphones released by manufacturers in China, the Lenovo P780 won’t set any record for being svelte. However, at 9.9mm thick, the phone should already feel manageable for most users.

Another noticeable feature would be the whopping 4,000mAh battery, which should keep the light on for a couple days with moderate usages. In a world where users typically run power-hungry apps, the battery should be a true crowd pleaser. Hardware components used may include MediaTek MT6589 quad core chip, 8GB of onboard storage, 1GB of RAM and 8Mp rear-facing camera.
