LG recently unveiled the F lineup in a video, which also highlights the “L”, “G” and “V” lineups. The “G” and “L” have been released to the market, but we never heard about the “V” yet. Now, LG has introduced a couple of “F” models, the F5 and F7.
The LG Optimus F5 is a budget model with a 4.3” qHD IPS display, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage and 5Mp rear-facing camera. The LG Optimus F7 is a more expensive model with the larger 4.7” 720p True HD IPS display. Other details include 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 8GB of onboard storage and 8Mp rear-facing camera.
Both smartphones are LTE-capable and they come pre-installed with Jelly Bean (Android 4.1.2) OS. F5 and F7 also include features typically attributed to the Optimus G series, including the QSlide multitasking capability. Another peculiar capability is Live Zooming, which allows users to zoom while watching videos.
